Being present is probably one of the hardest things to master as human beings. Often times it's because we think that the grass is always greener somewhere else. We believe we'll be happy when we reach a certain goal or be less stressed when a certain person is no longer in our life. And if you are an over achiever like me, being present is hard simply because you can't wait to reach that new goal/chapter or start working on the super inspiring next project you have in mind. That's called the shinny object syndrome!
In this episode I talk about how you can determine if the grass is actually greener somewhere else for you right now or if it can be greener exactly where you are right now simply by watering it. By looking at where you need to focus your energy (Intention, Action or Letting go), you should get a pretty quick sense of what you need to be tending to (new grass or the one you are currently standing on).
