How did we get where we're at? How did society so degrade to its current state? Here's the truth: it's largely the church's fault, and it's because we listened to the wrong voices.  Rather than embracing the historically-held view that we were bringing the light of Jesus to this world, we instead adopted the new belief that the world was going to Hell, and Jesus would have to bail us out in a rapture.
