David denHartog teaches from Mark 15:40–16:20. This Easter message proclaims that, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, both unbelievers and believers can find true hope for the everyday struggles of life, even in the midst of failure. The disciples’ repeated failures throughout the book of Mark, including in this passage, reveal that the risen Savior is God’s answer to our shortcomings through the greatest exchange of all time: Jesus takes our failure, shame, and guilt and gives us His victory, righteousness, and glory.
