One of the biggest misbeliefs in Western Christianity is that God's ultimate goal is our happiness and prosperity. When we believe this, we start thinking God exists to serve us rather than us serving Him. We were created for Him, not the other way around (Colossians 1:16, Romans 11:36). True joy isn't found in chasing happiness but in living for Christ as Lord.
