One of the most misunderstood subjects in Christianity is the subject of tithing.  Another is the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in other tongues.  The Bible talks about both of them in the Old Testament and New Testament but very few Christians actually give God 10% of their income or speak with tongues.

Over the past couple of weeks I have endeavored by the Holy Ghost to shed some light on the subject of tithing.  My assignment today is to tell you not to throw the baby out with the bath water!  Although tithing is not directly commanded in the New Testament, it is something that still absolutely honors God and as a result comes with promises, rewards and benefits.
