The last year and a half has given people the opportunity to take a step back and consider what success means for them. People everywhere are considering how they want to show up in their lives and what they are looking for in the world and for many, this means resigning from their jobs in search of something better.
My guest co-host this week is Laura Boyd, who has spent over 25 years working with organizations to help them develop sustainable growth, both as organizations and the people within them. She joins me to discuss the changes in behavior we're seeing in the workplace as a result of the pandemic, and we're diving deep into what's been labeled The Great Resignation'.
For many, there is an illusion that there is something better elsewhere for them, and that changing their circumstances, or leaving their jobs, will make them happier. But fleeing isn't always the answer, and as we go into this Great Resignation, there is still a lot of internal work needed.
There will always be opportunities, and if you are considering a resignation, I invite you to give yourself the space to be proactive, consider the best-case scenario for you, and manage the risk. Check in with yourself, get clear about what you are thinking and wanting.
Join us this week to hear more about The Great Resignation and the changes we are seeing in organizations as a result. We discuss workplace loyalty, the importance of establishing boundaries, and some advice and questions to ask yourself if you are considering a resignation of some sort.
