The Great Reversal

The Scripture comes from James 1:27-2:13; 4:6. Jesus turns human wisdom upside down in the Gospel. “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” The rich and powerful find favor in the world and in this life, so Jesus tells to show favor to the powerless and those who can’t take of themselves to balance the scales. “The Great Reversal” is part of our “Wisdom for Life” series.
