"And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister." 1 John 4:21

John is saying, "The command we have is blunt - Loving God includes loving people!" Do you remember John hearing Jesus say this nearly 50 years earlier as he was being tested by teachers of the law with question, "What is the greatest commandment?"
