Mr. Ellis is the author of Jesus, Last of the Pharaohs; Cleopatra to Christ; King Jesus; and Jesus, King of Edessa. Your host, Timothy Virkkala, had read a bit more than half of King Jesus before interviewing Ellis for the second time. The first time, a month earlier, the subject centered on a peer-reviewed paper on Ice Age climate change that Ellis had co-authored, and on Ellis's book Tempest and Exodus.
