In our final shift, we talked about the greatest offering ever given. Ironically, it was also the smallest at just a quarter of a cent, but while it may have been small in amount, it wasn't small in impact, and Jesus pointed it out because it was part of a 3-step cycle of generosity that he is calling all of his followers to implement: Decrease, Increase, Release. When the cycle is honored, we'll find ourselves with more and more resources so that we can be more and more generous. The shift from greed to generosity is critical if we're to become vessels for God to flow through instead of hoarders for God to give to.
