On the eve of the Presidential Election in 1964, Ronald Reagan addressed the nation and shared what he thought made America great.

These words weren’t just campaign pronouncements. They were an expression of Reagan’s understanding of why America was a great nation.

We don’t hear such thoughts made by most of our politicians today.

We should ask ourselves if we are still a free people under God.

And we should consider what bedrock values we are living by today?
