Consideration must be given to what the scripture means when it calls Christ the -Captain of our salvation-. We are called to follow Him with all of the respect and obedience due to One of that rank... but there are also a whole host of obligations that He undertakes on our behalf when we enter into that covenant with Him. It is these which are the source of some of our richest blessings.
