On the first week of last month, February, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) introduced on the House floor a resolution, called the Green Deal, whose main focus is climate change.
The resolution is an overly ambitious plan to turn the US into a climate/environment friendly nation, government and economy, in the span of ten years.
Yet, deeply insinuated within the resolution are elements that have nothing to do with climate change, electoral pledges endorsed by the progressive liberal democrats, like universal health care… and notions of welfare state that many American politicians find distasteful… and socialist.
