Welcome back to a (very) chatty episode of The Green-Pill Pod! This one is definitely more of a stream of consciousness surrounding my views around the impossible standards environmentalists are held to. Not only are climate deniers and bots out to sow division, it can seem hypocritical to any average person to not be living 100% sustainably at all time. That can be incredibly challenging, especially with the systems we're in! I'm hoping we can deconstruct out views around perfectionism, and also push to CHANGE the systems currently upheld.

I've made it over halfway through the "nothing new" challenge I set for myself at the beginning of this year! In today's podcast, I'm talking successes, struggles, my reformed relationship to consumption, and what these last few months of this challenge may hold. Not only has only buying secondhand seriously slowed my consumption, I feel in control of my spending and have been able to hit and make progress on ambitious financial goals I set for myself. I hope this episode inspires you to try a secondhand-only week, month, quarter, or even rest of the year!
