He doesn't prepare people for the afterlife (well living people), he helps guide souls trapped between this world and the next.
And he has been doing it for more than 20 years. He's learned a lot about living from these folks dying and he shares a lot of it in this episode. ##############################################

Getting back to your regular life is next to impossible after the loss of someone you love because everything as we once knew it has changed. Losing a spouse is tragic, having to raise children after losing a spouse can sometimes feel impossible. That's why I am so excited to talk with Jenny Lisk.

Jenny provides insights this this particular kind of grief and how her podcast not only is helping others, but helping her raise her children too.

2020 is the year of collective grieving.
Many of us have lost loved ones due to the pandemic. But there are many other kinds of losses people are experiencing in addition to death.
People have lost jobs, lost their senior prom, sports seasons, graduation.
People have lost their vacations, wedding receptions, and even a lot of their normal day to day activities.
We are all grieving something and many of us are eating too much, drinking too much and indulging in ways we know are not good for us, but work to numb us from feeling the anger, sadness and frustration that comes with grief.
That's why I'm so happy to talk with Vickie Griffiths. She is an author, weight loss coach and podcast host and has a lot of great insight into what is happening, and how we can get a grip on eating our feelings as we grieve.

When we think of a grieving person, we often think about a person who is depressed, sad and crying. But just seeing that picture of grief, could be holding you back from REALLY seeing what grief actually looks like.
Grieving people rarely break down in public, but that grief does reveal itself in other ways. And what about children? How can we help better support our grieving children
That's why this conversation with Author, Grief Educator and Pastor Steve Sewell is so interesting. Steve educates educators on what to look for and how to best support a student who might be grieving. And has written a great book to help children better understand how they are feeling.

Stepping up to support a friend who is suffering is not always an easy thing to do. So many of us want to help but just aren't sure what is proper.
Proper isn't really what it's about. Caring, kindness and support is. That's why I loved talking to my guest Laura Prisc.
She started doing something to show love to a friend when they were miles away and now it has created a life of its own. Check out what she is doing in this latest episode of the Grief Anonymous Podcast.

We all work with someone who has been dealing with grief. We just might not know it.
Grief isn't necessarily just about death. People can grieve over lost marriages, a diagnosis, a child who has a drug problem, and the list goes on and on.
People come to work with a smile on their face, and deep pain in their hearts, and unfortunately no one is trained to help support them...until now.
In this episode, Sherrie talks with Anthony Casablanca, who along with his brother Guy, has developed leadership training around this very common, yet underserved segment of our workforce.

Have you ever had your loved one visit you in a dream? Did you ever wonder what it meant?
Were you curious if you were the only person, having this happen?
Did it make you feel better when you woke up?
In this episode of the Grief Anonymous Podcast I talk with Dr. Joshua Black a grief dreams researcher, speaker, author, and host of the Grief Dreams Podcast, about why he has focused his entire career on grief dreams and what he has learned from his research.
The answers he has found, may or may not surprise you.
######################################################################
Dr. Joshua Black is a grief dreams researcher, speaker, author, and host of the Grief Dreams Podcast. He has focused all of his MA and PhD research (in psychology) on investigating grief dreams from many types of loss (including prenatal loss and pet loss). The majority of his research on grief dreams has been specifically on dreams of the deceased. Due to the lack of academic research in this field, Joshua has focused his efforts on raising awareness on grief dreams through doing talks, workshops, and interviews. Additionally, he hosts the Grief Dreams Podcast, developed a grief dreams website (www.griefdreams.ca), runs several social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), and wrote a children’s book on grief dreams (Dreaming of Owl).

When it comes to losing a pet, the sadness and grief you experience can be just as devastating as losing a human to death. The connection between a person and their pet can be strong, intimate and filled with love.
The good news is, that love never has to end. And that is what we talk about in this episode of the Grief Anonymous Podcast.
Best selling author Melissa Lyons shares her book "Until We Meet Again", which talks about the strong bonds of love between a human and a pet and the LOVE that still survives that loss.
