Jacob was born clinging, grasping at the heel of his brother. He had a need to be blessed. God had already blessed him but he didn't understand it so he tried to achieve it his way. All the running he did led him to lose his perspective. Maybe you've been pushing in your flesh to gain, and maybe you have lost because you've been pushing in your own strength.
Today God asks us to stop. Stop wrestling. Stop fighting on your own. You need a touch of God.
Maybe it won't come to build what you think it will, maybe it will break something so that you can understand the grace that is for you. God is the one who has overcome your struggle.
