In this episode of the Guide to Global Health, we will discuss Jackie Corley’s work through the Gender Equity in Global Surgery Initiative. Jackie is a neurosurgery resident physician at Duke and a current research fellow at the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. She focuses on global neurosurgery research and global health advocacy and policy to promote health systems strengthening.  Jackie is also a founder and co-president of the Gender Equity Initiative in Global Surgery, which strives to promote gender equity in the surgical, anaesthesia, and obstetric workforce around the world though directed and quality research, effective advocacy, and excellent mentorship. She is also a healthcare contributor for Forbes.com.
