In this episode of the Guide to Global Health, we will discuss Ahmed Alboksmaty’s journey from Egypt to the UK as a public health practitioner. Ahmed Alboksmaty is a medical doctor and a research associate in the NIHR Patient Safety Translational Research Centre at Imperial College London. He has previously worked as a consultant in quality and patient safety for the WHO EMRO and earlier as a Medical Coordinator for a joint project between UNHCR and the Arab Medical Union. In addition, he has been granted some regional and international awards for youth leadership and entrepreneurship in public health.
