In 2010 Janelle Morrison's life changed forever. Janelle was in a car accident that quite literally crushed her body. It took paramedics over three hours to get her out of the car using the jaws of life. She was placed in a medically induced coma for a week in order for doctors to repair her body. Two years later she was on the podium at Ironman Canada. Despite all odds Janelle managed to claw her way back to the highest level in her sport. She really did live the hero's journey. But despite her remarkable comeback she was left feeling unfulfilled and empty. It took incredible courage and resilience to claw her way back physically but arguably as much, if not more courage, to leave the sport when she realized it was not the end game she hoped for. This realization set her on a new path of mental and spiritual renewal. Janelle now shares her wisdom through speaking, coaching and yoga.
