On Halloween night, 1987, 15-year-old Shannon Marie Olson went out trick-or-treating with friends in Wichita — and never made it home.

The next day, her body was found in a sandpit near 29th & Hydraulic. She had been brutally attacked and left in shallow water. Her killer has never been caught.
