What is the halo effect? The halo effect is when we apply a global positive perception about a person to every characteristic of that person. The halo effect can be very impactful, the likelihood is that we don't even know the halo effect is working in our everyday lives. How we buy clothes, how we vote in elections and what we watch at the cinema can all be influenced by the halo effect.
