On today’s episode, Adam talks with David Solano, a Phoenix educator and basketball coach with nearly three decades of experience, and the founder of Solano’s No Limit Hoops, a nonprofit using basketball to keep kids off the streets and give them a place to belong.

One of the best stories he shares: David walks into an interview and tells the athletic director, “Hire me and I’ll put a state championship trophy on your counter.” They laughed. He got hired, and then he went out and won the championship.

We get into disability, leadership, respect, and what it really means to show up for kids who might already be having a rough day. He also breaks down his “bucket” mindset: don’t assume someone’s okay when they walk in, fill them up with real support, and watch what happens when people feel seen.
