For the first time ever I’m doing an episode talking with my boyfriend! We talk about how we started dating, the creatures that live in lakes, and whether ticks or leeches are more off putting.

Hey! I haven’t recorded in a while and it felt like time for an update. Summer has been treating me well so far and I still can’t believe I’m 21… what the heck. These are 20 areas of life that I’ve grown in throughout the years, from singing to living alone and everything in between :)

How in the world am I already halfway done with college? I talk about finals week and mono and a great last weekend at college. I’m excited about plans for this summer too at the cabin! Good things are in the works and summer is coming into full swing :)

Being a student feels so busy, though I love college life IMMENSELY. I really try my best to balance how I spend my time, and recently I realized that time for myself was being put on the back burner. These are just some of the ways that I’ve been attempting to create ways to prioritize myself within a schedule that seems to never slow down. It’s a continuous process of balance, and I’m excited to learn what works best for my life!

The second semester of my first year at college and, my first semester of sophomore year in particular, presented plenty of challenges, but I’m so thankful for a 2022 that was filled with insight, amazing friendships, and lots of growth. I realized a lot about myself and prioritized things that were important to me, which came along with some accomplishments that I’m really proud of. I’m so excited for the new adventures and characters that are in this next phase of life, and I absolutely can’t wait for what this next year brings!

Meet my brother Jack! He’s in 7th grade, but honestly more well spoken than I am! We talk about cross country skiing, Jack’s view on humility, and his teacher who’s a black belt and sled dog racer.

In this episode I talk about advocacy and how it fits into my everyday life. It was something that I hadn’t focused much on before, but really discovered in college how much I value it. I talk about working as an advocate intern at a women’s shelter this summer and learning how to advocate for my own needs as well.

In this episode, the family talks about our adventures visiting the Las Vegas strip for a day. We recorded it in the car, so it includes all the unedited parts of our drive to Utah including Ms. Google Maps and a… water buffalo?

I’m sitting in the arboretum on a stump that could hold at least six people. I’m so very excited for spring and immensely grateful for my time here already. I talk a little about our maple syruping field trips this year and how my second semester as a first-year is going.

This episode I chatted about my experiences with orientation, classes, work, and friends during my first semester of college. It’s so nice to be back for winter break, and wild to think that next week I have all new classes starting back up. Overall, I had a great first semester and I love college so far :)
