The happy Man is one who does certain things and does not do other things according to Psalm 1.

We learn what not to do to be happy in verse 1.

We lean what to  do in verse 2.

Verse 3 we learn the results of the practice to be happy and the definition of happiness.

Psalm 1.1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psalms 1:1 Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked,  or stand around with sinners,     or join in with mockers.
