In this episode of Open Tabs, I’m talking about the upcoming Harry Potter series, the casting choices, and the complicated reality of being a longtime Potterhead when the person behind the books continues to be… well, the worst.

I’m sharing my thoughts on separating the story from its creator, why this fandom feels so different now, and how—once again—this entire episode started because I was scrolling on Threads.
