Those of us who have received callings, whether to

  • Preach
  • Teach
  • Sing
  • Play an instrument
  • Be a trustee
  • Be a deacon
  • Serve on a team
  • Clean the church
  • Serve in the nursery
  • However you’ve been called…it’s for a purpose.


    • Matthew 9:37-38

    “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

    • There is a harvest right here in Spencer County. 
    • There is a harvest here in KY.
    • There is a harvest here in the United States.
    • There is a harvest all over the world!








      • Are you willing to serve and answer the calling that the Lord is putting on your heart?


      • Maybe you’ve experienced something similar. 
      • Maybe you’ve been pushing down the feelings of how the Lord is calling you.
      • Maybe you have doubt or fear.
      • Maybe it’s the unknown or you don’t have enough wisdom.
      • Maybe you are scared to say yes! I was…
      • Maybe you feel like you’re not good enough or unworthy.
      • Maybe you feel like you’re not qualified or too busy, or not equipped. 
      • Maybe you feel like your just tired.
      • Maybe your sin is holding you back.
      • Maybe it’s family or your past is keeping you down.
      • Maybe you should come and talk to me…or better yet…talk to Jesus.


        • Do you know who can defeat all these things….
          • Jesus removes doubts and fears.
          • Jesus provides wisdom and equips you..
          • Jesus gives energy and power to the weary and tired. 
          • Jesus deals with the sin and conquers your past. 
          • Jesus leads you through the unknown.
          • The One who defeated death…Jesus, he can do all things.
