Because of sin, the world hated Jesus. They rejected and despised him. Yet he came to free us. He came to be our savior. With that, he willingly took on our hate in order to be our hero. Today still, we daily hate on Jesus through our sin. But those who confess their need for a hero are invited to join him in being the hated heroes for his kingdom today.
