in 1866 the palace hotel opened its doors for the very first time and became the number one grand hotel in Southport for holiday makers and celebrity's alike , but it was also the location of the horrific murder of six year old Amanda jane graham , which ultimately hammered the last nail into the crumbling reputation of the palace hotel , and the....the ghost stories started
