God's desire has always been to dwell with people. This will be fully realised in Heaven, as will complete healing through the river and tree of life, which we read about in Revelation 20:1-4; 21:1-5. Jesus came to demonstrate the Kingdom of Heaven when He walked among us. The Apostles and early followers of Jesus also saw this kingdom of power in their lives.
