This week TheHealthHub is pleased to welcome Dr Vera Tarman to our show.  Dr. Tarman has worked in the field of addiction medicine since 1994. She is currently the  medical director of Renascent, Canada’s largest drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre. Currently, she is overseeing their new four week residential treatment program for food addiction. She is the author of Food Junkies: The Truth About Food Addiction (Dundurn Press, 2014). She hosted Rogers TV program, Toronto Speaks: Addiction, last year and has spoken extensively about many aspects of addiction, particularly food addiction.
