Hello Friends and Family! We are beginning our services today with baptisms. Each person baptized is “going public for Jesus” as they declare their faith for all to see. Our faith in Jesus was never meant to be a personal, private relationship – even though it is deeply personal and private – and baptism is the way the New Testament tells us to let people know we are now a follower of Jesus. As we watch these people making a bold statement about their faith, let’s celebrate them and remember that they represent the core of all we do as a church. We’re in the third week of our “Life Apps” series as we are going to the Bible to learn how to follow Jesus and make life work better. The key is that we have to do more than just learn what the Bible says, we also have to APPly it. That’s what Apps do. They help us do life better. Today, we’ll focus on the most important aspect of our being – our heart – as we do a spiritual arteriogram. Please stop by our Next Step Bookstore and look over the books I selected for this series.
