Whatever images of Jesus you have seen—whether on canvas or on film—are nowhere near as good at depicting His emotions as the Gospels are. You may not have been taught to think of Jesus as a passionate person, but He was—and His emotions tell us, not only what we should care most deeply about, but also what He feels when He thinks of us.
