John 12:24-26, 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. Surrender. Submission, Yielding, Sacrifice, Holiness. Today, these concepts are unpopular and many who do understand these ideas are afraid of them because they involve the denial of self. The greatest struggle people have with God is accepting and obeying His command to die to "self" and to surrender to Him wholeheartedly. In this sermon, we see the benefits of surrendering our hearts wholly to God; 1. The Heart Increasingly Becomes a Holy Dwelling Place for God's Presence, 2. We Are Able to Know the Lord Better and to Manifest His Nature, 3. We Receive a Greater Measure of God’s Power.
