On the third week of Advent, as we celebrate the joy that comes with the birth of Christ, we look at the importance of the Light of God breaking into a dark world.

Light is an important illustration of God at work in the world. No matter where darkness is at work, God is working to bring light to those situations. This was especially true during the first century for the Jewish people.

When Jesus was born, he was born into a world that seemed to have forgotten the light of God. This week we look at not only how Jesus broke into the world to end darkness, but where Christ still shines light into our lives today.
