This is the short monthly episode to give you a rundown of what the planets have in store for us in the month of August. This is the last full month of Summer! We are in the heart of Leo. We kicked this month off with the Aquarius Full Moon and will have a second Full Moon on August 30th known as the Blue Moon. This will be the Full Moon in Pisces. Before we get to the end of this month, we have lots of conversations happening with the planets that may have you feeling one way on a particular day and feeling another way the day after.

Our Leo New Moon this month is on August 16th and Uranus, our planet of surprises, shock, and revelations and innovations will have a hand in this new moon as Uranus, in Taurus, will be making aspects to both the Sun, in Leo and Mars, in Virgo. This is similar to what is happening at the beginning of this month with the Sun, Jupiter, and Mars. We had a Mars (our planet of action) in Virgo making a favorable Trine to Jupiter (planet of growth, opportunity, optimism) in Taurus to begin this month. Mars in Virgo wants to find ways to get things done and Jupiter in Taurus wants to provide the resources so that can happen. This trine took place at 13 degrees and coupled with a Full Moon where the Moon was making a square to Jupiter provided lots of frustrating energy if the energy was not able to be channeled in a positive way.

This Sunday, August 6th we have the Sun (planet of our vitality, purpose, and who we know ourselves to be) making a square to Jupiter in Taurus. This takes place at 14 degrees, and these are both kings in the planetary realm so again there is a lot of energy coming with this square. Both the Sun and Jupiter will gladly want to take the lead or plunge depending on your view. Just be careful not to overextend yourself or overpromise on things. Mars, Jupiter, and the Sun are in a bit of a cosmic dance with the degrees they are travelling through in this first half of the month.

While we are speaking about retrograde, Mercury has moved into its home sign of Virgo as of July 28th and has entered its shadow period as of August 4th as it prepares to go retrograde on August 23rd just when the Sun will move into Virgo. I will have a separate episode on this retrograde but be aware that this may feel intense as we will still have Venus still in retrograde as well.

In this episode I speak about the upcoming Lion's gate portal that will be exact on 8/8. This can be a potent day to manifest and also to allow yourself to receive downloads from the Universe.
