"For the Lord your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." (Deuteronomy 20:4 AMP) that's another Edge we have over the enemy; Our God go before us and fight our battle all he asked us to do is stand firm in the faith. "The God of my strength in who I will trust my shield and the Horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, you save me from violence, I will call upon the Lord, who is Worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies." (2nd Samuel 22:3-4 MEV) God is our strength the Horn of our salvation our stronghold, our refuge and Savior, no enemy can stand against that.
"Show your marvelous loving kindness by your right hand, O you who save those who trust in you, from those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me under the shadow of your wings." (Psalm 17: 7, 8 NKJV) here David speaks keep me as the Apple of your eye! Hide me God as a mother hen who covers her brood, under the shadow of Your wings! "He will fulfill the desires of those who fear Him He also will hear their cry and save them." (Psalm 145:19 NKJV) "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who trust in him." (Nahum 1:7 NKJV) David & Nahum speaks of God being a stronghold for us who trust Him in the day of trouble. "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (Romans 8:37 NKJV) and "Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God." (Ephesians 6:13-18).
