The Heist? Recreating a Rarity: FrankenPete C64GS Project
In this video, I complete the "FrankenPete" build, a unique Commodore 64 Games System (C64GS) recreation assembled from reclaimed parts and 3D-printed cases. I walk through the assembly of a custom SMD C64 Power Saver, install a @TheRetroChannel RFOFF video mod with S-Video output, and add some custom 3D-printed finishing touches.
This project was a collaboration across the Retro Hardware Discord community. Now that it is complete, the entire bundle is being raffled to support The Befriending Scheme, a charity dedicated to combating social isolation.
