He has always been a cannabis advocate and didn't think much of hemp more than just for fiber and clothing, but in his journey to a healthy lifestyle, he realized that hemp seeds have a lot of benefits. However, they're not able to consume nor grow it in Texas.

In this episode, Ramiro talks about the difference between cannabis and hemp and how he started the state's grassroots movement.

Patrick Trail is a pioneer of his sector, has studied chemistry and Business Information Systems in college. After college he went on to work for Conagra foods as an information specialist, he started a software company over 20 years ago that specializes in agricultural software, that company specializes in inventory and traceability software for the life science industry. And that's how he actually got started in hemp by creating a similar traceability program that would allow us to understand what's happening from field to bottle.

They started working with companies in Kentucky, and he started to buy products from them and actually ended up creating his own line of consumer products after testing and trying everyone else's. When they moved into growing and processing in their Michigan operations, that's when things really started to get interesting.
