This is an absolutely amazing story of survival, redemption, and the power and goodness of God.

Hope Beryl-Green is a sex trafficking survivor. From infancy, she was used and abused in horrific ways. She describes herself as a "slave".

At 5 years old she was signed over to Epstein and subsequently trafficked and abused on Epstein Island among other places.

She was only freed from her life of bondage after 31 years...long enough to make anyone lose hope.

And yet...

God did the impossible.

He restored hope.

He paved a way for her escape.

He never stopped loving her, and eventually that love was lived out by a Christian couple who didn't give up on her.

Today, she's a beautiful example of healing, redemption, and freedom in Christ, and while the details of her story are horrific, she is an inspiration to all of us - survivors and others - to keep going in the face of what seems to be impossibility. Because God will bring hope.

Human trafficking is not just a crime issue.

It goes much, much deeper.

It is a direct attack on God, by the spiritual powers of darkness.

The spiritual darkness goes deep, and can even cause fragmentation of souls.

This is why it's not just a crime issue.

This is why it's not enough to just rescue victims.

There is so much more that has to go on behind the scenes to actually rescue victims for good, and to eventually change the culture to remove the desire for this kind of evil in the first place.

The Lord has given us an assignment to combat human trafficking. It wasn't on our radar, it wasn't something we ever thought we'd be doing, but the Lord has confirmed it over and over again.
