In this weeks episode of The Hernando Houdini - The True Story Behind the Escape of Dangerous Criminal Joshua Zimmerman, we delve deep into the Southaven Police Department casefile that was developed by SPD while they were investigating the attempted murder of an elderly Southaven man Jerry Talley in late September 2023.

At first glance, it appeared to SPD detectives that Zimmerman shot Talley in what appeared to be a home invasion gone wrong. But when Talley refused to cooperate with law enforcement and several people became intertwined with the case, it appeared there was a much bigger picture at play, but SPD could never prove it.

Then, when SPD arrested Zimmerman some 48 hours after he tried to kill Talley, a lot more bizarre and compelling insights were learned about the crime and the connections between Talley and Zimmerman.
