Mark is the producer and host of the Think Spiritual Podcast.  This podcast examines a variety of topics related to the spiritual journey with an emphasis on The Hero's Journey. 

Mark is the son of an Evangelical Minister in Canada.  During our conversation, Mark tells of the challenges of being the "preacher's son."  He also goes into depth on his abyss stage in his journey where he rejected his upbringing and slipped into a deep depression with thoughts of suicide.  It made me think of the author and preacher Rick Warren whose son took his own life in 2014.  Mark survived those dark years and returned with a vastly different worldview which lead him to start the podcast and YouTube channel.
