In these chapters, Akkarin and Sonea are exiled into Sachaka, and I'm totally startled by how quickly the Ichani begin to pursue them even though I should have known better because I'm aware that the Ichani can listen in on the mental conversations the magicians are having.
Things aren't easy for Sonea and Akkarin, although having magic certainly gives them a great advantage. I don't know what I expected but I guess it wasn't for them to be sent off on foot without any food or water. That's pretty rough. And meanwhile poor Rothen is at his wit's end and Dannyl is dealing with his own shit...THERE IS A LOT GOING ON.
