In this week’s episode, we’re featuring the owner and founder of the Sketch Effect, William Warren. Growing up as an aspiring comic strip artist, he talks about the struggles of entering the dying industry of printing.

 

Gaining a digital marketing job instead, William discusses bringing his creative doodles into his meetings for fun, and how his drawings brought in a different office experience. He then shares how that turned into a hobby, then a side hustle, and shortly, turned into a full-time job.

 

William describes the Sketch Effect as a visual communications company. Going into detail about expansion, he discusses the humility that comes with giving delegation to employees. He also gives his advice on how to make creativity stay relevant in your life outside the office space.
