Breakfast TV legend and now 5 News anchor Sian Williams tells The Send about covering some of the biggest stories from around the world, including a defining one from here in the UK - the Hillsborough disaster. She explains what it was like to witness a community grieving while the authorities lied about what happened. Now a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist and final year Doctoral student, Sian pulls from her extensive experience in counselling, and her research on journalists, to examine the unspoken impact that witnessing such traumas can have on reporters, and the techniques anyone can use to stay calm under the intense strain and pressure of deadlines.
