Welcome to Episode 3 of The Hobby Hearth podcast! In this episode we head to the world of Pokémon in its 30th anniversary. We’ll cover our experience of the games and the anime growing up, falling out of the franchise and later returning to it, and why Pokémon is important to us. We also go over some of our favorite Pokémon and our ideal team.

In this lengthy episode, we talk about Peter Jackson's 2001-2003 Lord of the Rings Film Trilogy. We go through a range of topics, from our favourite scenes and themes, to the cast and characters, to the epic musical score, and finally to the cultural significance of that Trilogy has had on cinema and fantasy.
