On this episode of The Hockey Masterclass we welcome in Mike Weaver, former NHL defenseman who spent 11 years and 633 games with Montreal, Florida, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Atlanta. Weaver chronicled his hockey journey in a 2016 Players Tribune article titled "Tales of an Undrafted Puck Eater" and is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of CoachThem, a virtual coaching tool that is revolutionizing the game. Additionally, the Michigan State grad is also the founder of the Defense First Hockey School, which offers a cutting edge approach to development and incorporates the fundamentals of hockey with an emphasis on mental skills and how to “think the game.”
