In this holiday episode of The Powder Room, we’re taking a Holiday Rewind — back to the days when Christmas meant family, tradition, and showing up without negotiation. Growing up, the holidays had a rhythm: the food, the laughter, the gathering spot… all anchored by our elders who kept the family stitched together. But as time has passed and priorities have shifted, some of those traditions have faded.
Today, we’re pressing rewind to remember what made the season so special, and talking about how we can restore some of that connection. I’ll share a few of my own family traditions, plus my favorite holiday foods, movies, and songs. And as always, we’ll close by centering the truth at the heart of it all — Jesus is still the reason for the season.
