Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! The Revenge crew start the first episode of 2022 right! After taking a moment to honor the legendary awesomeness that is Betty White , we then jump into our usual shenanigan’s with our reflection of this past year and dreams of what may come. What was our very best of 2021? Bry’s pick was our very own web-comic, “Operation: B.L.U.E.” Being able to jump sides from reader to creator is an experience he never thought he’d have the opportunity to do and has loved every moment of it. Tadd’s best of 21 was Barry Windsor-Smith’s, “Monsters.” It’s a magnum opus that embodies everything that made him want to be comic creator way back in the distant time 2006. The WEIRDEST OF 2021? And by “weirdest” we mean the most enjoyed from outside our per usual scope of consumed storytelling. The projects that expanded our casual horizons, if you will. Big Bry’s pick: Gaveneye. The mysterious and murderous, psychological drama from the mind of, Blue Tiger favorite, Sloane Leong! Tadd’s pick was the final book from Adhouse, the Immonen’s social media experiment manifested into beautiful tangibility, Grass of Parnassus. Last, but not least… our Moby Dicks of 2021! The failed hunts. For Bry it was the suddenly unobtainable “Pluto” series from, comic juggernaut, Naoki Urasawa. A modern retelling of Tezuka’s 1950’s classic, “Astro Boy.” If you have it and want to hook him up…. get ready to watch a giant cry with joy. It may not look like much, but for some reason the obsession with this figure will not fade. Yeah, it could of been purchased via the world-wide-web, but damnit’, Tadd needed to find it in person…. out in the wilds, like nature intended. From way back in the year of 91’, Toy Biz’s Wolverine. It’s so stupid, it’s beautiful ( I need it). And that rounds out another year of fresh, straight from the blue body, tiger milk. It’s cold outside so spread the warmth of our broadcast center… hidden… somewhere… in the pop culture wild-lands. Powered by….
