Six Ways to Participate in the Spirit’s Power

Today Pastor Matt kicks off the fall season with a new sermon series which will teach us, from the Scriptures, the ways in which God’s people can participate in the power of the Holy Spirit. Because Peter and the rest of the disciples received the Holy Spirit and participated in the Spirit’s power, the body of Christ became witnesses to the ends of the earth. The witness of the community is a critical part of our testimony to the grace of Christ, just as it was for the early church. In today’s message we will see how the Spirit worked in the early church and be challenged to see how our own lives will change as we participate in the Spirit’s power in the body of Christ, the Church.
