Throughout John 14-16 Jesus tells the apostles the Holy Spirit will come as their helper and counselor. He also tells them to not fear the future, for "I have conquered the world." Why did the apostles need this instruction and comfort? How was it fulfilled in their lives, and how does it relate to us today?
